Which crafts sit under a Legendary recipe?

Forest Treasure asks for 50 [L] Forest Treasure Piece, 80 [L] Anima Stone, 120 [L] Platinum and 120 [L] Steel. Each [L] Anima Stone is made from ten [E] Anima Stone and 125 Glittering Powder, each [E] from ten [R], each [R] from ten [UC], and each [UC] from ten Anima Stone. Glittering Powder is a craft as well, made from five [UC] Lunar Shard. The Craft screen in game shows one of these recipes at a time; the tree puts the whole chain on one screen.

How much base material does a Legendary craft take?

Multiply down the chain. The 80 [L] Anima Stone need 800 [E], 8,000 [R], 80,000 [UC] and 800,000 Anima Stone. Copper fees add up the same way: 8,000,000 for the [L] crafts, 16,000,000 for the [E], 16,000,000 for the [R] and 32,000,000 for the [UC], or 72,000,000 Copper for that one material line. The tree shows which parts are crafts and how many of each one craft needs; it does not total the quantities yet.

Can a craft fail?

Almost every recipe always succeeds. The Uncommon, Rare and Epic Mystical Piece Box recipes succeed 40% of the time, so the tool shows that chance with the expected number of attempts, 2.5 shown as 3. Many material recipes also carry a Lucky chance for a bonus item; [E] Enhancement Stone, for example, has a 10% Lucky chance.
